Momofuku Noodle Bar is David Chang’s first baby where his legendary pork buns made their debut. Verdict? Same story as Ippudo: pork buns live completely up to the hype while the ramen does not.

I pretty much wanted to check myself into the hospital to treat my clogged arteries immediately after having this. Tasty but super greasy. My body can only handle this once a year.
[New York] Clinton St Baking Company
Breakfast, pancakes in particular, is no doubt what this place does best. If you don’t have time to wait around for breakfast, don’t fret because they serve pancakes for dinner, too.
[New York] Kura (Dinner 2)
Ugh the inevitable has happened. Kura’s secret is out and I have to fight other sushi zealots for a spot at the counter. Do yourself a favor: make a reservation! Grab a seat, order some sake, and eat whatever Chef Miyake-san hands you.

I swear we were just looking for a light snack in between lunch and dinner (it is a totally legitimate meal time) when we stumbled upon this grilled cheese shop. We split a sandwich if that makes us less like pieces of lard. No? Okay.
[New York] La Sirene
There are a few ways to lure me into a restaurant and one of them is with wine, filet mignon, and foie gras… all in one dish. On top of the fact that most entrees are drenched in wine, you can byob (bring your own bottles) to dinner.
[New York] FP Patisserie by Francois Payard
In addition to Lady M, The Plaza Food Hall also houses FP Patisserie by French pastry chef Francois Payard. There is a very staple dessert selection here and I will definitely be back to eat my way through the case.
