What to get:

Breakfast, pancakes in particular, is no doubt what this place does best. We came for breakfast on a weekday and the usual crowd was waiting outside. We put our names down and was told the wait would be around 45 minutes but were called after 25 minutes. If you don’t have time to wait around for breakfast, don’t fret because they serve pancakes for dinner, too. I highly highly highly recommend coming here for the pancakes (day or night).
Banana Walnut Pancakes with Warm Maple Butter ($14; blueberry or chocolate chunk options also available)
Blueberry pancakes may be the OG here but banana walnut pancake are definitely the new thing. Pieces of banana and walnut sandwiched between layers of moist pancake and topped off with more banana and walnut goodness. The maple butter was completely necessary and we soaked up every last drop of it. We could have used even more.
Sugar Cured Bacon ($6)
This bacon is the best bacon I have ever had in my life. Sweet and salty in one bite.
Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict ($18)
The biscuit was a bit dry even when soaked in in the yolk and sauce. Otherwise everything else was good. Go to Balthazar for their version; it is the best.
