Ugh the inevitable has happened. Kura’s secret is out and I have to fight other sushi zealots for a spot at the counter. Do yourself a favor: make a reservation! Grab a seat, order some sake, and eat whatever Chef Miyake-san hands you.
The photos speak for themselves. If you want to torture yourself with descriptions, please see previous post for more details on pricing and selection.
Monkfish Liver
Stuffed Squid
Miso Soup
Tuna with Mountain Yam
Tilefish with Green Tea Soba and Daikon
I didn’t think this dish could get any better than the last time I had it but it did. Miyake used a different fish this time and the sauce was more peppery.
