What to get: Crepe Cake

Lady M is known for its Mille Crêpe cakes. The French word “mille” means a thousand, which describes the many layers of crepes used to create the cake. Lady M’s crepe layers are paper thin, which combined with pastry creme give it a light, fluffy texture.

I went to the boutique on this day with my friend and we shared a slice of original and a slice of green tea crepe cake. The original crepe cake is caramelized on top while the green tea crepe cake is topped with green tea powder. Both flavors were delicious but if I could only eat one slice, I would go with the original.

On this day, my friend and I went to the Lady M counter located in the food hall underneath The Plaza Hotel. We shared the chestnut crepe cake, which we did not see during our previous visit to the Lady M boutique. The chestnut flavor was bomb and comes in a close second behind the original.
