The Commune Social

It hasn’t been long since I was last at The Commune Social. This time, I came armed with four other people to maximize dish quantity and variety. They happily obliged.

Sichuan Citizen

This place feels like a scene out of Rush Hour 2. The food is fine and I never have a bad time eating it but it is very western Chinese food. Authenticity is not what you will find here but these Americanized dishes can hold their own.

Hai by Goga

Everything here is good. And I can back that statement up because we went completely ham on this meal. Two girls, six dishes, no leftovers.

Sir Elly's

After a girl’s dinner at Capo, we walked across the street to Sir Elly’s at The Peninsula for drinks.

Capo Shanghai

Shanghai Restaurant Week Dinner #2

1515 West at Shangri-La

The bar at 1515 West is a great place for drinks whether it’s business, pleasure, or both. Pricey but man are they good.

Strictly Cookies

I just ate six cookies in one sitting. No big deal. My Asian metabolism will take care of it tomorrow.

Maison Pourcel

Shanghai Restaurant Week Dinner #1

Boxing Cat Brewery

Boxing Cat is a popular brunch spot in Shanghai. It is a safe place to go for your standard western breakfast of eggs, sausages, pancakes, and the likes.

Abbey Road Shanghai

Abbey Road serves very generous brunch portions. It’s good for my buck but bad for my body.
