Sproutworks Shanghai

Sproutworks offers salads, sides, and paninis. This place reminds me of Whole Foods but without the groceries.

Tiffany Cafe Shanghai

Tiffany Cafe is a cute little restaurant that serves all sorts of food from waffles and pork chop to Thai curry. There are Audrey Hepburn themed paraphernalia throughout the restaurant.

Awfully Chocolate

All the desserts here are super sweet and rich. That can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you feel about death by chocolate.

Beef & Liberty Shanghai

It is so hard for find a good burger in Asia. When my friend recommended a burger place in Shanghai, I said this better be a damn good burger. And a damn good burger it was.

Lillian Bakery

Best egg tarts ever.

The Grandma's Shanghai

No, I am not reviewing my grandma’s food. This is actually the name of a popular family-style chain restaurant in China. Although I imagine this is what a home cooked meal by grandma would taste like if my grandma actually cooked.

i-Scream Hong Kong

Upon hearing I like Earl Grey, my foodie friend immediately recommended this gelateria that sells Earl Grey gelato.

Le Goûter Bernardaud Hong Kong

Macarons!

Zuma Hong Kong

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant located in The Landmark building in Hong Kong. Everything in this building will cost you a vital organ or two. My friend and I opted for the Daikoku tasting menu set at HKD$970 per person. We regret nothing.

Life Cafe Hong Kong

We went momentarily insane and decided to eat rabbit food–I mean at a vegetarian restaurant. I think it was the happy hour (discount on martinis and beers) that lured us in. For a vegetarian restaurant, it was better than I expected but I will not be going to any more vegetarian restaurants by choice any time soon.
