[New York] Dieci
Half of the menu at Dieci is comprised of uni-based dishes. It was my mission to eat here, which I did, and it was delicious.
[New York] ROYCE’ Chocolate
My mouth is watering as I write this because I ran out of this crack–I mean chocolate–just a few hours after acquiring it and now I have none left. I don’t even know where to start. I saw this coming. I really did. I tried to stay away from this store on Madison for as long as I could because my BMI was on the line. But I ended up going anyway. Resistance is futile.
[New York] Essex Restaurant
The brunch special technically includes 3 bloody marys, screwdrivers or mimosas but no one is counting.
[New York] Momofuku Ssäm Bar
I said one of these days I was just going to eat a meal of pork buns. This is me doing that.
[New York] Pies ‘n’ Thighs
Get anything that starts with fried and ends with chicken and you won’t be sorry.
[New York] Public
This one Michelin-starred restaurant is a popular brunch spot in NYC. The Bloody Mary is so fresh and will surely cure a hangover–not that anybody ever has one when they go to brunch.
[New York] Totto Ramen
Of the well-known ramen shops in New York, Totto’s ramen broth came closest to the flavor I made up in my mind of what I would like ramen broth to taste like, if that makes sense.
