Yongkang is practically college town for those who want to relive but are definitely beyond their college years… ahem. The fish and chips are nothing to boast about but are passable munchies if you are on Yongkang.
Shengjianbao is a must-have in Shanghai and Yang’s Dumplings 小杨生煎 is a must-try place for these.

I like my local Chinese food but when I need my American brunch fix, I go to Madison.
Half of the menu at Dieci is comprised of uni-based dishes. It was my mission to eat here, which I did, and it was delicious.
My mouth is watering as I write this because I ran out of this crack–I mean chocolate–just a few hours after acquiring it and now I have none left. I don’t even know where to start. I saw this coming. I really did. I tried to stay away from this store on Madison for as long as I could because my BMI was on the line. But I ended up going anyway. Resistance is futile.
The brunch special technically includes 3 bloody marys, screwdrivers or mimosas but no one is counting.
I said one of these days I was just going to eat a meal of pork buns. This is me doing that.
Get anything that starts with fried and ends with chicken and you won’t be sorry.
